I’m Anwaar Ayub Raja. I help people understand one another when language, context and detail matter.
Experience with a human perspective.
Over more than 15 years of interpreting and translation work, I have developed an approach built on patience, observation and clear communication. My work supports police, courts, legal professionals and multi-agency staff.
I work in Urdu, Punjabi (Pakistani), Mirpuri and Pahari/Pothwari. I bring linguistic knowledge together with an understanding of professional settings and the importance of accuracy, impartiality and confidentiality.
My academic background includes media production and postgraduate study in terrorism, international crime and global security. This wider perspective informs my interest in language and its context.
Beyond the written word
